Smaller Donations
Book donations can be made in person at our warehouse in Mississauga, Ontario from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday to Friday.
If your books are paper-recycled and not sent to another school in Canada or elsewhere, then CSBE will recycle them and donate the proceeds to various Canadian and international charitable organizations and also make a matching donation. CSBE selects recipient organizations who most effectively contribute to literacy and learning in Canada and abroad.
You may donate any textbooks, library books, including encyclopedias and magazines.
We do not accept CD's, Cassette Tapes or other Non-Paper Media for our donation program.
Large Volume Donations or Recycling Textbooks
For donations larger than a few boxes, please contact CSBE to make special arrangements. While CSBE doesn't pay for shipping of donations, we can arrange discounted shipping though our shipping agents.
